Tragic Day and My Point of view

Could've it ended differently?

That was my question when I heard the news and every supporting reports about the hostage taking. For me, it could have been a big YES.

You see, I don't know everything and I'm not claiming I do. I just see those
news about Capt. Mendoza but didn't really gave much thought about it. But in my own opinion, with his pleas and all. I think the Ombudsman and people in charge, whoever they are could've just simply given him the time of the day. I mean, he tried to reach out and
contact the authorities with his case (basing on his last phone call), didn't he? But he got no response from them. He's jobless and all. What do you expect? He'll just let his life stop and not find a way? ALL HE EFFIN NEEDED WAS ATTENTION. ALL HE WAS ASKING FOR WAS AN ANSWER TO THOSE LETTERS. You can't just ignore a letter from a high ranking police official who was ousted, banned from government service and without benefits. You did this to him, you ruined his life. You could've just at least answered even one of those letters.

THAT WAS A CALL OF DESPERATION.

If he was really planning on killing people in the first place, do you think he would let the others out of that bus? He could've had a killing spree right then and there.

No. He has a heart for gahd's sake! You could've at least given him that.

He was doing it just to catch attention. Just a scare tactic so that the authorities would consider his plea. Wasn't it clear as crystal? Geez! But the police and whoever they are, still remained smug about it. As if they were going to save the situation without casualties.

YOU COULD'VE NEGOTIATED. That's what he wanted, a freaking negotiation. You could've atleast granted him that or made an offer or something. But what did you do instead? Arrest his brothers without warning or SOLID FREAKING EVIDENCE? Wow! Bravo. What a very stupid, irresponsible, show off  move plus the smug faces of those police makes me puke with disgust. What the heck was that for?---and so the killings began.

He was releasing victims at first, can't you effin see that? He never intended to hurt the hostages but you chose to hurt him first with your stupid aggressive move. It was all your effin fault police. It couldn't have happened if you didn't do that uncalled-for arrest. Sheez. How you handled the situation was nothing but sheer stupidity and a typical SHOWING OFF.

It would've never happened in the first place if the authorities were doing the RIGHT thing. If they just had answered this poor guy's plea of an answer to his petitions. If they KEPT their effin stupid pride down and somehow showed a bit of concern to the hostage taker.

P.S I don't consider what Mendoza did was right, just to make clear. But his reaction was something to be expected right after he saw how his brothers were arrested.  That's my opinion. What's yours? My comment box is open even for non bloggers. :-)
